I discussed my client's needs on the phone because he lives in Florida and I am in Tennessee. We established the color scheme based on pictures he emailed me as well as the size of the tables the 2 lamps would be sitting on. He wanted something unique and within his budget. I sent images via text and email sharing the work in progress over a few weeks to be sure he was happy with the direction I was taking. I also managed to make the cigar boxes functionable so he could hide some of his valuables inside.
